Wire Binding Equipment
Wire binding equipment is a must in the busy office of today. This equipment makes it very easy to bind together any kind of important papers, such as a marketing proposal or special reports in a neat and orderly way. By using wire binding the material can lie flat on a table or other surface and easily be opened a page at a time.
The old method of glue and bind always made it difficult to handle reports or other material, which was bound together, as it had to be kept open by hand. This did not allow a person to leave the report open to a certain page, in addition the bound document was often very hard to open.
The beauty of this machine is that it is possible to use any type of cover desired. It can be hard cover, see through, paper or whatever is appropriate and it will always give the appearance of something that is expertly done. The wire binding comes in a variety of colors so can be appropriately matched to the cover. Appearance is often very important and passing out bound documents of this type indicates a company or person who is aware of the latest in technology for properly preparing materials to distribute.
There are a number of different types of this machine, some of which provide other types of binding, however the double loop wire type of binding has shown itself as superior, being long lasting and very versatile. One is seeing more and more documents presented this way, especially where there is a meeting or conference with a large number of people participating.
Another excellent feature is that one does not have to have special training to operate the machine. Following very simple instructions one can have any employee bind the material with ease. There is quite an expense if this job is sent to a printer so there is money to be saved by doing it in-house.
Each machine has an electric inserter that can bind books up to approximately 150 pages. The coil simply twirls into the holes to make the binding. The result is a very sleek and business like document to present to any meeting or to store documents that may be needed later.
