Wire O Binding
Wire o binding is also called as double-O binding or wire binding. It refers to a method used for binding papers and such.
This method is commonly used in the USA for binding items into books, calendars, booklets and others. Having a machine for wire o binding at your home might be a good idea for you and your family. Your children can bind their documents for their school projects or studies.
Generally, a wire binding machine for personal use is cheap and the operating cost of one is also low. Hence, you may end up saving much money in the long run for you and your family. Such a device is usually manually operated and small enough to be set up on a writing table. A device which is for commercial purpose is normally larger and more expensive.
But, you can bind more documents at one go. It is also easier to bind many sets of documents since you do not use manual energy to do so. Such a machine is normally powered by electricity. Papers are placed into a wire binding machine and holes are punched on particular side.
Normally, the holes are round in shape. After punching, the papers are removed and a C-shaped spine is placed into the machine instead. The punched papers are then set at one end of the spine and while the other spine end is on the device. For a personal device, you need to close the C-shaped spine manually by pulling a lever to bind the papers. A commercial machine does the binding automatically.
In short, the wire o binding method is a cheap way to bind all sorts of documents for personal, office or school use. Even your children can use a double-O binding machine to bind their work into books or booklets for their school projects or studies. So, consider buying one for you and your family to save money in the long run. You do not have to spend money for binding services at shops.
